Give clay target shooting a go

The Gympie Clay Target Club are holding a come and try day on Saturday 22 May.

Gympie Clay Target Club will hold a Come and Try day on Saturday 22 May from 10am to 2.30pm.

The club grounds are situated at 64 Bank’s Pocket Road, Gympie.

All are welcome to come and have a go any time between those hours.

The sport is open to men, women and children however children need to be 11 years of age and accompanied by an adult.

Disabled persons are also welcome with pathways in place.

There will be safety videos and an induction and all beginners will be offered one-on-one assistance for their initial introduction to shooting.

The cost of the day will be $15 for 25 shoots and includes the use of club guns and ammunition.

Unfortunately there are no Eftpos facilities on site so please bring cash.

There will also be a sausage sizzle and cold drinks available.

Unlicensed shooters need photo ID and will need to complete a form to comply with weapons licencing regulations.

Enclosed foot wear and sleeved shirts (short sleeve is ok but no singlets) must be worn by all shooters.
