It is all over and another year done and dusted for the Gympie Camera Club, with it ending another excellent year of photography enjoyed by all members.
End of year competition night saw many members awarded for their much-loved images and the effort that has been put in throughout the year.
On finals night three accredited Photographic Society of Queensland Judges were in attendance for the judging of the final competition of the year. It had been a busy year and we look forward to another busy one in 2022. The new year for club will begin on the 17Th Jan 2022 starting at 7.00pm with Richard Bassett leading the club into 2022 as the new President. Work is already beginning on the 2022 calendar putting together another year of fun and learning activities.
“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever…It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything,“ Aaron Siskind.
