I was very disappointed to read in GT 27 March a letter from Mrs Adel Amin regarding my inability to access Gympie Regional Council’s website.

I had always believed Mrs Amin to be an intelligent woman and not someone who ever made assumptions (and we all know how that ends up) or jumped to conclusions.

Mrs Amin’s assumption that my inability to access Gympie Regional Council’s websites was due to my dotage and not because I was blocked.

I have printouts of all the “Access Denied” responses from the Gympie Council websites and server, and these were forwarded to the Council for their investigations.

Should Mrs Amin still doubt the veracity of my claims, she is very welcome to visit my home and view these Access Denied responses from Gympie Regional Council’s server.

They all have a slightly different reference number, so maybe Mrs Amin, with her apparently superior computer access powers, will be able to find the reason for these denials.
