As flood waters recede the true extent of the damage to the regions infrastructure will be revealed.
While crews will spend the next couple of days assessing damage it may take some time to reach some of the more remote locations.
To help Gympie Regional Council out, and to capture damages in our isolated locations, Council has set up a dedicated email address for residents
in those areas to send images and information about infrastructure damage. This includes damage to roads and other assets.
If you wish to send something in, send it to floodingdamage@gympie.qld.gov.au.
It is Council’s responsibility to ensure your infrastructure is safe. You may see road closed signage up for several days after flood water recedes.
Please remember to follow road signage and drive to the conditions.
