Mega Muster Line-up announced

The 2024 Gympie Music Muster is set to be an unforgettable celebration of Australian music, showcasing a stellar lineup of iconic artists and emerging talents.

The final artist announcement includes an impressive array of Golden Guitar winners, rock legends, and rising stars, making this year’s Muster a must-attend event for music lovers.

Golden Guitar winners Felicity Urquhart, Josh Cunningham and Casey Barnes, are among the headliners for this year’s Muster.

Joining them are rock legends Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows, who are set to bring their unparalleled energy and musical prowess to the Muster stage.

Adding to the excitement is the inclusion of iconic band Dragon, promising an electrifying performance that will resonate with fans old and new.

The lineup doesn’t stop there.

The Whitlams, Black Stump, Tori Forsyth, Chad Morgan, Melanie Dyer, and The Bushwackers are also set to grace the Muster stages, delivering diverse musical experiences that span across genres and generations.

Among the rising stars will be the newly-crowned 2024 Australian Idol winner Dylan Wright, who will be performing at the Muster as one-half of Sons of Atticus.

The Whitlams’ Tim Freedman can’t wait to debut at the festival.

“I’m so excited to come and play at the Muster that I’ve asked if I can play twice,” he said.

“So, my piano and pedal steel duo is performing in the intimate Grove on Saturday afternoon as well as the full band show on Sunday. This is my Gympie debut and I can’t wait.”

Casey Barnes also shared his excitement.

“It’s always a huge honour being part of the Gympie Muster lineup,” he said.

“Even more special this year because I have a new album out and a new live show coming your way.

“There’s no festival like Muster in Australia!”

Melanie Dyer is a Muster veteran.

“I am beyond excited to play the Gympie Music Muster this year!” she said.

“My last one was back in 2017 so I’ve got plenty of new music to share and I’m pumped to make some new Muster mates.

“I have the best memories of being huddled around the fire drums sharing laughs and stories with people from far and wide.

“It reminds me of growing up as a kid on a farm and strumming my guitar around the campfire with my family.”

Muster CEO Greg Cavanagh highlighted the diversity and depth of this year’s lineup.

“The final announcement includes 60 artists and has a great mix of heritage rock bands and is bolstered by many country artists,” he said.

“In total, we’ve got 140 artists including an awesome blues line-up, it’s a really solid program with a great mix of genres and legendary Australian artists.”

The 2024 Gympie Music Muster promises to be a jam-packed eight-day extravaganza, including pre-Muster events that set the stage for an unforgettable musical experience.

With a lineup that celebrates Australia’s rich musical heritage while embracing the future of music, the Muster is poised to captivate audiences and create lasting memories.

The Gympie Music Muster is one of Australia’s premier country music festivals, attracting thousands of music lovers each year.

Established in 1982, the Muster has become a beloved tradition, showcasing the best of Australian music talent while providing a vibrant and inclusive festival experience for attendees of all ages.
