Buying Australian
I have become obsessed with buying Australian.
I now read every label and try to buy Australian at all times if possible.
What started me off – while shopping at supermarket om the south side , at the delicatessen section, all the bacon was from overseas and only one of their many sliced ham products was Australian.
What are the big companies doing to our farmers in pursuit of profit?
All the rules and regulations imposed on the man on the land today beggars belief. I do not know how they survive.
I was utterly disgusted. I now buy small goods from the butcher and you know what? It tastes better and keeps longer. ‘Best of all, I am now supporting our local farmers.
