Let’s Celebrate

It’s a day to remember.

These days when we celebrate “Australia Day” on January 26th, we must remember those who came before.

This land has been populated for some sixty thousand years and their descendants still live among us.

In hindsight, we must recognise that even though it was a primitive life, the first nation’s people were living happily.

There is evidence that this land had been visited by some other countries before the invasion by the Europeans around three centuries ago.

As S. Hanson pointed out in a letter last week, lots of immigrants from all around the world have made a great contribution to Australia, while we talk about different races of people its their different beliefs that is the problem!

We are now into the year 2026 and everyone knows what that means, lots of people have died in that time and not one has come back to life.
