Furthering the nuclear discussion

I absolutely agree with Gunter Tippman in his letter, 9/8/2024, and would like to add further information to the discussion.

In addition to the other energy sources which he mentions, there are new inventions coming.

Last year (August), I wrote to this newspaper to pass on information on the Kryon Engine which uses magnetics to create power.

Just recently I heard about 2 gentlemen in Cairns who have invented a generator which sounds similar.

100 years ago, Nikola Tesla, invented a machine which created non polluting energy.

Apparently, the Earth has a negative charge and the Sun has a positive charge that can be used to harness power.

What happened to it?

There are persons in this world who don’t want new inventions to come out because they can not make money out of them, so either buy the patent and shelve it or the inventor has an unfortunate accident.

The tide has turned and those persons can not control us anymore, so the inventions are coming.

Nuclear is dangerous.

Remember Chernobyl and Fukushima.

I have written to Llew O’Brien MP to voice my concerns and would like to quote from his reply.

“I encourage an open discussion based on facts”.

So here are some facts.

FACT.

Nuclear is illegal in Australia so before any progress is made, the legislation has to be changed.

FACT.

Australian experts agree that it will be 2040 before one kilowatt is produced.

That’s a long time to wait for your energy.

FACT.

At this time nuclear waste can not be recycled or made safe.

It can only be made stable and buried.

So my point is, stop wasting tax dollars on this political nuclear spin and invest in new inventions that are already here.

Gail Godwin,

Gympie.
