Music brings people together.
Whether it be an acoustic guitar with friends around a campfire or a massive music festival, people need a great song to sing along to.
Without Karaoke nights, open mics or live music, a part of our community would be lost.
Lucky for us, we have one of the best music festival’s in Queensland, which brings thousands upon thousands to visit where we call home and make friends along the way.
That is what music does.
It removes the boundary of place and time, it allows anyone and everyone to connect and share their lives and experiences and truly become a community.
Others are losing their festivals, but I am glad to hear ours is here to stay and what it feeds to our community.
Listen to local musicians, go out and dance, experience walking through thousands of people.
We need it to be human.
