Hanging up on Youth

How can it be that lives are at risk from a screen in the palm of your hand?

Social media just seems to be a feeding ground for influencing or targeting children.

It has the force to continue forcing body dysmorphia, self-hatred and prey on the vulnerable who do not know how to switch off.

Youth are struggling.

They are being constantly fed what the world wants them to be, told they are not enough and degraded for anything they choose to love openly online.

There are no wonders in my mind why mental illness is common.

There is no argument that could be made to me that the help is enough.

But you read my mind Mr. Government, I want a campaign to tell me to turn my phone off.

Just because you ban it, does not mean it will go away.
