I call for a statewide re-election of local mayors.
Voting in the 2024 statewide local mayor election was far from diplomatic, with vast numbers of voters turned away from absentee voting stations who tried to vote being absent from the town from where their electorate is located.
Only to find out that the absentee voting stations only covered divisions within the local area only blocks away from the absentee area, not towns and postcodes away.
Absentee voting should cover state and country absentees, not locals (from) just around the block.
Democracy is dictatorship in disguise.
