Something to think about ahead of the election

An election is in the air.

Free child care, one million new Queenslanders, more schools, parks sports grounds etc, etc, etc.

And now, the Premier resigns.

One million new Queenslanders equals 274 people each day.

Where will they work? The Government is hellbent on closing down the mining industry.

Where will the children go to school and play?

How will they travel around for work? The public transport system might be okay if you live in Brisbane.

Where will they live? The current government cannot provide housing for the Queenslanders who now are desperate for accommodation.

They cannot provide health care for those who live here now.

I am sure when you are lying in an ambulance waiting to be admitted to be treated for your life threatening condition you will be thinking about the money that will be spent rebuilding those football stadiums they will be pulling down for the Olympic Games.

But then, it is not them in the ambulance.

But it might be you or one of your loved ones.

This Government does not care for the residents of Queensland.

They have been building stadiums instead of building infrastructure or better healthcare or schools or public transport systems.

Something to think about when you enter the polling booth next year.
