I must admit that I am not happy with the renaming of Fraser Island.
At present I live in Goomborian alongside Tinana creek on my property.
Apparently the locals back in the bad old days had respect for aboriginals and named our locality for them.
Local aboriginals got scr***d by the State and Federal Government in power at the time. It wasn’t the locals.
So, I must admit being teed off with renaming Fraser Island.
When I go back in history it is usually the idiots deciding things in government who sc**w things up.
Now we have the Voice, treaty, truth telling etc.
Why is the present Labor push any different now?
I am a 23 year veteran.
And I will admit that the cynic in me from past experience tells me this is all about folks making free money.
