Get amongst the studio trails

The Gympie Regional Gallery is excited to announce a call for expressions of interest to participate in Gympie Region Studio Trails in July 2024.

Gympie Region Studio Trails is an annual initiative of Gympie Regional Gallery to support the cultural and economic development of the local creative sector in the Gympie region.

Studio Trails gives visual artists, artisans, heritage workers, designers and other creative practitioners an opportunity to work as part of a network to share their passion across the region and beyond.

For Studio Trails 2024, the event will be divided into four separate trails, organised by easy driving routes.

Trails will be organised generally by East, West, North, and South, but will be flexible until final studios are confirmed.

Each Trail will open for one weekend from 10am – 4pm, however central Gympie will be open for all four weekends.

Artists located in central Gympie are particularly encouraged to nominate for multiple weekends.

The Studio Trails program will be extended to include different types of destination for those who do not have a studio.

For artists interested in participating, you are encouraged to read the Gympie Region Studio Trails 2024 Information Sheet available on the Gympie Regional Gallery website and attend the Get Together and information session on Saturday, 13 January.

Then artists must select the dates they would like to participate and submit an expression of interest form by Sunday, 11 February.

Successful applicants will be notified by Friday, 16 February.
