Christmas spirit ramped up in Gympie with the community joining together at Nelson Reserve for Christmas in the Park last Saturday, 16 December.
Guests joined in at 4pm and enjoyed the live entertainment, rides, Christmas markets, petting zoo and more.
To wrap up the night, the grand finale fireworks went off to light up the sky alongside the Christmas cheer.
Unfortunately, the event and carols had to be cut short due to the, although appreciated, storms that came to wrap up the event at 6pm.
There to capture the festivity and smiles was Gympie Todays’ Shane Zahner.
