The Rainbow Beach Blokes 2023 Calendar launch countdown is on and those who have peeked say 2023 can’t arrive soon enough

Organiser Elisa Seul from Elisa: People, Places and Events said the past five months has involved a lot of work behind the scenes.

“Being part of this fundraising project has allowed us to learn a lot about the models, everyone has an interesting story and we still know too little about our neighbours and locals“.

She said Jess McKenzie from Rainbow Beach Wedding Photography has done sensational work with the twelve photoshoots.

“The images are powerful, meaningful and they will make you giggle.“

“The point of the calendar is that when you are laughing, it is hard to be angry or stressed.

“We aim to bring mental health support in to your homes.“

The Blokes Calendar is a fundraising project to create a safe space for men to gather.

Elisa said the goal is to raise a minimum of $3000 with the money being invested in the community to help start up the Rainbow Beach Blokes Association.

“They can buy tools and share skills whilst helping each other.

“Depending on how much we raise we also plan to have a ’Blokes Day Out; with workshops and guest speakers; something fun and meaningful.“

The calendar will also be showcasing the natural beauty of the region from beach to bush and a couple of urban landscapes.

“It wasn’t easy to feature ’only’ twelve professions, but we managed to have an inclusive variety of men of all ages, trades and backgrounds.“

“From The Iceman, the iconic Dodgy Brothers, the local butcher, SikLads, to the arborist, builder and retailer; You will love it!“
