Getting jazzy and drinking wine for a good cause has never been so much fun. Last Sunday, 350 Gympie and Coast locals attended Wishlist’s annual Jazz and Wine Festival at the Pavilion. With all proceeds going to aid Gympie Hospital patients and families, it was a great reason to get dressed up and have a good time. With delectable food and a variety of beverages, you could bump and sway to the music of the Kitty Kats, who helped add to the funky atmosphere. Wishlist also made a special announcement that in 2023, a new project would be constructed called “The House Gympie Built”. It will offer affordable accommodation for local and rural patients experiencing a health crisis. It’s the first of its kind of Gympie, and all made possible by generous local support.
