Busy knitting for homeless

Gympie's Older Women's Network has been busy knitting to keep our region's homeless warm.

The craft group of the Older Women’s Network have been busy this year knitting and crocheting blankets, beanies and mittens for the homeless. This is a great fun group with an abundance of talk and laughter yet they still manage to get things done.

The project in the coming year is to knit Care Bears to be given to the young children in hospitals.

For their end of year break-up the ladies had an enjoyable day lunching at the Southside Bowls Club.
