Goomeri School part of Super Vax Weekend

Goomeri State School will be part of the biggest Queensland Covid-19 vaccination blitz with a pop-up clinic operating from 8am-2pm.

This Saturday (October 23), Goomeri will be one of more than 100 high schools hosting pop-up clinics.

Anyone in the community aged 12 and over can get vaccinated at any school pop-up clinic this Saturday, so bring your family, friends and neighbours and get vaccinated.

Alternatively, you can walk into any Queensland Health Vaccination Location and get your jab – with or without a booking.

To find the closest site near you visit the Queensland Health website.

You can also get your Covid-19 vaccination at an approved GP or pharmacy via the Vaccine Clinic Finder.

It’s vital that our community steps up together and gets vaccinated to reach the target of 80 per cent before December 17.

Keeping our communities safe and finding a pathway out of the pandemic is a whole-of-community effort.

We need everyone to come forward to get vaccinated.

Remember, it takes at least five weeks from the first dose to be completely vaccinated so now is the time to get your vaccine so you can enjoy the holiday season with family and friends in other states and territories.
