Letter to the Editor – Leon Pethick
Australians have a major defect.
They are only five minute patriots.
On Anzac Day, on Australia Day or,
If we are winning Gold Medals or some such sporting event.
The very sad result of this problem is, there are a couple of things Australians fail to understand.
Only two words though, Peace and Freedom.
Once they have a firm grasp of these words, we may be able to make this country great again.
Patriotism begins in school, understand our history, be proud of who we are.
