What a waste of money and resources in the solar factory at Munna Creek. How dare they call it a solar farm? A farm grows food to feed the people.
Please tell me, where are they going to dispose of all the solar panels when they have to be replaced?
We have some of the most expensive electricity in the world today, just what are they trying to prove?
Australia produces one per cent of the world’s carbon. Just stop and think, how many homes could have been built for the Aussie battlers?
Just when is all this madness going to cease?
When is the government going to our people before the ideological nonsense and scaremongering?
The only winners here are the countries producing solar panels. And they are the ones who produce the most carbon in the world, and they are the ones using coal-fired power stations and using our coal, the cleanest on the planet.
If the sun doesn’t shine and the wind doesn’t blow, we would be out of electricity within four minutes. Sun and wind will never replace baseload power.
Wake up Aussie, we should have the cheapest coal on the planet, oodles of uranium, which would give us reliable base load power at a much cheaper rate and most importantly these minerals we have in abundance.
I am 93 years old and believe me it is no hotter now than when I was growing up in Biggenden.
I am devastated by what is happening to our environment and animals. The removal of our forests for wind turbines. The loss of bird life and native animals is inexcusable. We are destroying the very things, the trees, that convert our carbon to oxygen.
Shame on the political parties of today for not standing up for this country. They are leading us like sheep to the slaughter.
This is the biggest hoax ever foisted upon the Australian people.
