Gympie Regional Council is excited to announce the return of Easter on Mary on Wednesday, 27 March, from 5.30pm to 9pm, on Mary Street.
Get together with your family and friends for to experience a night of fun-filled activities, including late-night boutique shopping, live music at the Gold City Centre Stage, tasty food vendors, and street entertainment.
Entertainment will include stilt walkers, roving jugglers, fire twirlers, buskers, acrobatics from Aerial Dreaming Circus School, a petting zoo, three shows outside of Musicland and Dolly and Oats as well as much more.
A train will be available to take families up and down the length and breadth of Mary Street with two stops, one opposite the Queenslander and the other opposite the Post Office.
The street will see many historic cars as well as Cooloola Car Clubs modified cars and many vendors so that there is something for everyone.
“This will be 10 years of Easter on Mary,” said Chairman of CBD Action Alliance Tony Goodman.
“It is a great family event and the whole street will be closed down.
“It is going to be a night of late night shopping complimented by fantastic street entertainment,
“Thousands of people come for these nights,
“There is something for everyone.”

Road closures will be in place for Mary Street and Smithfield Street from 4pm until 10pm.
