The Goomboorian Hall Markets are on next weekend with their first market for the year.
“This is our first market for 2023, so come and join us for an early Valentine’s Day,” said hall spokeswoman Jan McCann.

“We have books, clothes, DVDs, CDs, records, glassware, bric-a-brac and much more at rock bottom prices,” she said.
The kitchen will have its usual yummy food, carrot cake slices, fruit cake slices, scones jam and cream, quiche, sausage rolls, spinach and ricotta rolls, soft drink, tea and coffee which can be enjoyed out in the grounds.
The Hall cake stall will have bar cakes varieties in fruit, banana, carrot, date and walnut, Irish Tea cake and butter cake.
All proceeds from the day go to maintaining the beautiful Goomboorian community hall.
The wonderful stall holders also have lots of goodies and bargains and unique merchandise.
