Boogie down at Goomboorian

The second Old Time Country Hall dance held at the Goomboorian Memorial Hall on 20 May, was a great success. Fifty patrons attended, enjoying music by Chris Doyle our muso.

The Cooloola Coast Dances host the monthly dances and is a non-profit group of retirees who enjoy getting others to dance and socialise in our lovely wooden floored Country Hall at Goomboorian.

Supper is created by talented ladies and put together with the help of the ladies of the Goomboorian Hall committee. Thank you so much for helping keep our patrons well fed!

Dance lessons are held on the first Saturday of the month, the next being 3 June. Mal and Karen conduct the lessons with the Evening 3 Step, Basic Barn Dance and Swing Waltz being run through on the 3 June from 3pm to 5pm. A cuppa is provided half way through. Lessons are $5 per person purely to help with the hire of the hall.

We hope to see you there. Contact Julie 0428824115 for attending details for both dance and lessons.
